Trish Granholm

Trish is a mitigation specialist for ETC. She supervises a diverse range of mitigation and preparedness efforts, including the bracing of contents at the USGS Flagship campus in Menlo Park, coordinating full-scale disaster readiness projects for Disney theme parks in Anaheim and Farmers Insurance offices throughout the country, and retrofit efforts at businesses such as Amgen and Adobe Systems.

Referred to by Fox News-LA as “The Earthquake Lady”, Trish has appeared on dozens of television broadcasts, radio interviews and podcasts.

Trish can be found all around the state with the fleet of Quake Cottage Earthquake Simulators, educating people in communities, hospitals, schools and businesses about the urgent need to prepare for a major earthquake.

Trish is a frequent speakers throughout the state at preparedness events, as well as organizations such as ASSE and IFMA. She is co-coordinators of Education and Outreach for the Bay Area Earthquake Alliance, and author of the “Earthquake Lady” blog.
